3º PRIMARIA AT DR. CONDE ARRUGA

Our 3rd graders (aged 8-9) worked too on  a brief presentation and interesting questions to be asked. They were impressed about the SWIMMING POOL and GARDEN...and very curious about assemblies...here are some potos.

Our students in 1º Primaria (aged 6-7) at Dr. Conde Arruga have been working on posible questions to ask to their peers at Wykeham Primary School. They worked in teams, and also on a little presentation. They are very excited about the exchange...HAVE A LOOK !!!

Year 5 children at Wykeham Primary School



¡Es increíble que vosotros no llevéis uniforme!




Tenemos muchas ganas de hacer skype la semana que viene. ¡Tenemos un montón de preguntas que haceros!

Year 4 children at Wykeham Primary school Come and meet our Chickens!

                 Venid a ver nuestras gallinas que viven en el colegio. Tenemos 6 gallinas ¡y nos dan muchos huevos! 






These year 4 children wanted to tell you about the chickens they have in school. One of the questions they want to ask during the skype session is:

5º PRIMARIA AT DR. CONDE ARRUGA

Pupils in year 5 were probably the most curious ones about this Project...they were overexcited when we explained the Project...they want to have the exchange:

-¡ahora mismo!! queremos preguntarles  un montón de cosas!!






They worked in groups and looked for similarities and differences after having a loooong look to Wykeham's web page...

4º PRIMARIA AT DR. CONDE ARRUGA

4th graders have been working with her teacher and the language assistants on the TWIN SCHOOL PROJECT.

They had a look to Wykeham's web page...they were impressed about everything...very excited...

6º PRIMARIA AT DR. CONDE ARRUGA

Our students started the project by working in groups and deciding about similarities and differences with Wikeham Primary school and their own school.







They did so with the teacher's help, looking at their web page: pics, curriculum, subjects, staff, etc. They are curious about Wykeham's 3D facilities, computing lessons and assemblies...and many other aspects...



-Por qué tienen huerto?..Nosotros tenemos jardín, pero no huerto...-

-Qué rollo...llevan uniforme...-

-¿todos los profesores hablan español?-



THEY DO WANT TO HAVE THE EXCHANGE ASAP!!!!

2º PRIMARIA- DR. CONDE ARRUGA

Our students in 2º Primaria  (aged 6-7...they will be 8 during the year...) have been looking at Wykeham Web Page...they were impressed...they had a SWIMMING POOL!!!...they said:

-¡qué morro!, ¡tienen piscina!

They wrote some questions with the help of the teacher, coordinator and language assistant.
They are looking forward to have the real exchange and find out about swimming lessons!!!

Year 6 Pupils at Wykeham Primary school



The year 6 children (aged 10-11) were asked to prepare a short presentation in Spanish to introduce themselves, their city and their school to their twin school.


 They discussed their ideas in groups and wrote a list of questions in Spanish that they would like to ask through Skype on the day of the first contact.


The children are very excited about the first skype session with the children from Spain they can't wait to practise their Spanish!


Wykeham Primary School Year 3 Pupils check out their new twin school in Madrid!


A Year 3 class (aged 7-8) at Wykeham Primary school finding out about their twin school in Madrid. We looked at the Dr. Conde Arruga's website and discussed the similarities and differences between our two schools. Some of the children's comments:

" They don't have a uniform!" , 

"The classrooms look smaller in Spain and they sit in rows"

" El gimnasio is very similar"

DR. CONDE ARRUGA YEAR 6 STUDENTS

Our students in Year 6 (11-12 years old) visited the computer's room and found out interesting things about our new "twin students"...Wykeham School....They loved it!!
